A few months ago I already thought something like this would happen. Gary had written something on Eddie's facebook I remember. At that moment I suggested he could ask Eddie for his second volume of Dirty And Beautiful. Well, I know you're not a fan of Gary's drumming style, Milly, at least when you saw him with Allan Holdsworth, but maybe he'll impress you in this setting.

Of course; Gary is a great keyboard-player, so I don't see the problem! ;-)

Yeah, but that was as a drummer. By the way, did you know that Mark King started his carreer as a drummer in the band Re-Flex?

It's funny to realize Alex is playing on the new Gary Husband-album and they're both performing with Eddie now.

The track is called Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Brothers b.t.w. and it's in fact a duo-performance from Alex (guitar & programming) & Gary (drums).

Milly:

I am curious to know if your opinion on Gary Husband has changed after seeing the Zoetermeer show.

Thanks for your honest reply.Did not mean to put you on the spot.

Maybe the next Jobson project should be Husband on keyboards, Minneman on guitar and Eddie on the drums!!!

Does "IMVHO" mean that your "IMHO" comments shall not be taken seriously?;)

I have some friends from Puerto Rico that will be attending Nearfest and claim to have a ticket with my name. If that is the case, I will give you my take on Husband's approach on UK and KC tunes.

Are you going to Nearfest?

I saw Husband for the first time with Holdsworth back in September 1987 during the Sand album tour. It was a great show and Husband did an excellent job. I really like Husband's work on Holdsworth's albums, i.o.u. being my favorite. Some people describe Husband's drumming style as someone falling down a flight of stairs in a rhythmical way.

I hope my friends from PR are not pulling my leg regarding the Nearfest ticket because I would love to see Husband with UK.
